Enterprise Address Book is a multi-user relational database that contains contact address, email, phone, marketing and file information. It is fully integrated into the Business Pak. Templates and macros provide access to the Enterprise Address Book at the appropriate times during the document creation process.
Enterprise Address Book includes the following features:
Query Tab: Search for records by Name,
Codes, Client Matter or Owner.
Tab: Search for an individual's record using the Query feature, then select the Address tab to display full address information. Or you may enter new information by moving directly to the Address tab. See below for a complete view of the Address screen.
A wide variety of phone information is stored in the Address Book. Some of the default categories include:
This list of phone types can be modified using the Dictionary Administration feature of the KI Admin Tool.
Codes Tab: Codes can be assigned to records in the Address Book then used in queries for Mail Merge documents. This list of codes can be modified using the Dictionary Administration feature of the KI Admin Tool.
Matter Tab: You can search the Address Book by Client Matter.
Once this information is entered, it is available to you via the Address Book. You can "attach" client matter information to entries in the Address Book which can be used later for merge documents. These client matters can be modified using the KI Admin Tool.
Comments Tab: The Comments area is for text entries that do not "fit" into any of the other fields.
